The National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive Wednesday, December 18th from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the La Farge Community Center. There are still donations times available if you would like to donate and walk-ins are welcome. You can register for a donation slot at https://www.redcrossblood.org/ . Every donation helps earn Red Cross Scholarships for our 2025 NHS seniors. Thank you for the continued support!

Exciting things are happening in the library! The La Farge school library has added Playaways, preloaded audiobooks.
We'll also be dedicating our Library to the late Paul Jacobson, on Wednesday, December 4th at 10:00am. Paul served as an educator and administrator at La Farge Schools for 28 years including 22 as Superintendent. Throughout his career Paul strove to provide students with the "opportunity to develop the skills necessary to learn independently. It is more important to know how to determine an answer than just knowing the answer itself." He was also instrumental in establishing a modern library media center at La Farge Schools which became a reality in 1996. We look forward to this occasion and would love to have you join us!

Fridays have been filled with events for students the past few weeks and yesterday was no different! We had BINGO throughout the day and a new and growing event as well. Welcome to Phone Free Friday! Students are given the option to give up their phone for the day and have their names entered to win prizes! We encourage a social environment here and want students to be in the present. We had a beautiful Veteran's Day program yesterday, with many local veterans in attendance, performances by our students and a wonderful sideshow honoring those who have served.

The La Farge Drama Club is proud to present this year's play, "Romeo, You Idiot" by Tim Kochenderfer. Performances begin TONIGHT, November 7, at 7:00, and continue tomorrow, November 8 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 9 at 1:00pm. All performances are in the La Farge Schools Gymnasium. Free will donations accepted.
