The 4K students have been learning about sequencing--putting things in order! They have practiced this skill by applying it to real world experiences like how to bake cookies. They have also applied it to show their comprehension of fairy tales and nursery rhymes we have read. As a group, the 4K students sequenced the nursery rhyme, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." After cutting out the pictures, the students decided which one would come first, second, third, and fourth in the sequence. The 4K students worked really hard and had a lot of fun!

This past week we had our annual invention fair in 3rd grade and it did not disappoint! Our third grade students showed us their creativity in coming up with unique inventions as well as improvements on existing ones. They also used their writing and speaking skills presenting their inventions to a panel of judges and peers. The panel of judges gave top scores to Clara and Riley and Chance was the runner-up! Mrs. Wirts is so proud of all the 3rd graders for all of their hard work!
