La Farge School District - Home of the Wildcats

School board members give the La Farge area’s citizens a voice in education decision making. Even though we make a special effort to show our appreciation in October, their contribution is a year-round commitment. Please join us in sharing your appreciation of our school board members who have supported the District, its students, and its staff through a difficult period in the past many months! The members serving our district are President Aaron Nemec, Vice President Curt Parr, Clerk Holly Franks, Treasurer Chad Wirts, and member Ashley Schlicht.

Thank you to Nelson Agricenter True Value for supporting La Farge Schools with the gift of paint! The community of the School District of La Farge passed a referendum in the Fall of 2020 to support facilities upgrades and improvements. As part of this project, an interior designer worked with the school to develop a color scheme and design plan for the school that would help the different parts of the building feel more cohesive. Using this plan, our custodial staff used paint from Nelson Agricenter True Value over the summer. Students came back to school to see hallways brightened by new paint that promotes school spirit! #Truevalueofyouth

La Farge NHS is hosting a blood drive on Friday, September 24th from 12:30 to 5:30 PM in the Gym. To make an appointment call Ms. Rastall at (608) 625-0145. There are openings starting at 2:30 pm.

Juniors and seniors, remember you have a field trip to the College Expo in La Crosse tomorrow! Bring a lunch or money to buy one. You leave at 9:15 and will be back before the end of the day.
