Dear La Farge Families-
This year has been like no other, and is finally drawing to close. We are proud of all of our students and families for their flexibility, resiliency, and hard work during these unprecedented times! Please read on for details about how school materials can be returned and student materials can be picked up.
On Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2, La Farge Schools students/families are invited to drive up to the main entrance to return Chromebooks, text books, instruments, library books, or anything else that belongs to the school. At the same time, you can pick up any items that were left at school in students' desks, lockers, and coat hooks. Please keep in mind that no students or family members will be allowed into the buildings, and everyone must stay in their vehicles. A staff member will meet you outside to retrieve any materials you had at home, and will bring out any materials that your student had left at school.
Chromebooks:
- If you are experiencing any difficulty with your Chromebook (not charging, keys not working, mouse pad not working, any damages, etc), please write us a note about what might need to be repaired.
- Remember to return the charger cable too.
Instruments:
- For all returning band students, instruments can be kept at home through the summer.
- Seniors, students who are not participating in band in 2020-2021, and students who are not planning to return to La Farge Schools should return their instruments to school
Monday, June 1 11a - 6p
Tuesday, June 2 8a - 4p
Please watch for a separate communication about any library books your child might have checked out.
If the times listed above do not work for your family please call the office and alternative arrangements can be made!

Notice regarding La Farge High School Class of 2020 Graduation Activities
This spring has been difficult for everyone, but especially and exceptionally so for our seniors who have had to miss out on so much, and for their families and extended community who have looked forward to celebrating their accomplishments.
Due to the statewide order, we are unable to hold a timely traditional graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020.
At this time LFS’ Graduation is postponed to Friday, July 31. Check our website and social media for updates as the date approaches.
Our community is encouraged to acknowledge and support our class of 2020 by purchasing a yard sign, making a donation towards or visiting the light pole banners featuring seniors that will be hung downtown this week, or decorating your own home, yard, or business with our school colors of purple and white.
At 6pm on the evening of May 22 La Farge Schools will light the ball field and scoreboard with “2020.” The lights will stay on for 20 minutes and 20 seconds in recognition of the LFS Class of 2020.
