Wrestling Sectionals for Saturday, February 18th.

Love was in the air for 7th grade science!💘
The students implemented their knowledge of Mendelian Genetics with a hands activity of monster speed dating. Activities like this allow students to practice concepts they learn in class in a fun and silly way.

We appreciate our School District transportation staff! Today, they were all invited down for coffee and pastries, and were treated to a special gift by the High School Student Council. Thank you for getting our kids to school, back home, and to their special events safely! We appreciate our drivers: Phil Campbell, Gary Williams, Stacy Myers, Phil Muller, Todd Camlek, Mike Fowell, and Kip Walker (not pictured).

Thank you to everyone who supported the Middle School Student Council by purchasing Soda Grams!!

This week our libraries received a generous donation of 100 books from Dollar General. We're excited to have this new business in the community and opportunities like this available. Thank you!

Congratulations to our Lady Wildcats for clinching a home playoff game! Let's pack the gym in support on Tuesday, February 21st as they host Southwestern with the game starting at 7pm. Go Wildcats!

The 4K-2nd grade students celebrated the 100th day of school with some fun rotations! Students were divided into groups with a mix of students from each grade. They did fun activities like building with 100 items, making a 100 crown, drawing a portrait of what they think they will look like when they are 100, and building with toothpicks and marshmallows. Both the students and the staff had a lot of fun!

Dress up days for students tomorrow, February 16th. This weeks dress up days are sponsored in cooperation with Sources of Strength and High school student council

Yesterday was our annual Giving Back from the Heart Program.
Once again, the La Farge Lions Club teamed up with students at La Farge Schools to show support for needed projects, programs and individuals in the community and area. The Lions Club donated $200 to each class (Pre-K through grade 12) at La Farge Schools. Each class was able to decide to donate the $200 in the name of their class to an individual, family, program, or project of their choice. This “Giving Back From The Heart” concept allows the Lions Club to help the students at La
Farge Schools to become involved with various needs in their school and
community. The Lions Club will write out the checks to whatever entity the
students and classes decide to support.
This year, every class at La Farge Schools chose to donate their money to Amanda Nemec and family. Additional groups donated extra money as well, the middle school student council, the music department, high school student council and the FFA.
You can watch the program at the link provided.
Thank you to the La Farge Lions Club for giving our students such a great opportunity.

A group of junior students have been voluntarily meeting every Wednesday at 7:00a.m. to improve their vocabulary, practice time management, and fine-tune their knowledge in preparation for the ACT and life beyond high school.
We are proud of the dedication and extra mile that Wildcats go to prepare for a bright future!
